World Schooling is an alternative education for families. We are starting our world schooling journey as a hybrid-approach. Both of our daughters are in traditional schools and on occasions we take them on trips for additional exposure and education. The goal is to tradition to full-time world schoolers, but we look at this as journey and we can plan out destinations along the way. Below are some of our more recent adventures.
Puerto Rico 2021
Before trip: Purchased the book “Tiny Travelers Puerto Rico Treasure Quest” and identified things we wanted to see and places we wanted to go.
During trip: Found treasures from the book and so much more. Highlights included:
- Went to Barrachina’s where the pinã colada was invented.
- My daughters tasted Piragua and Coco Frio both treats in PR
- Swam in the Atlantic Ocean for the first time
